Me? I’m not mad, nor upset. More surprised than anything else. Massively disappointed. I agree with your sentiment on the words; but, with due respect, the focus solely on the words used seems a bit shallow.

I play in an adult baseball league (real baseball). 2 weeks ago I met up with a teammate who is a vocal, avid, and outspoken Trump supporter. We had a good time, got some swings in, and talked a little about confederate monuments. So I think your friends' position is ridiculous.

Also, that batting cage blew away in the hurricane last week.

Good for you and your teammate. You both exhibit the exemplary behavior and maturity that is apparently not at the forefront of those two progressive friends (?)(For lack of an appropriate term) of mine.
