its very similar to Bobby Knight. If you are good enough they will put up with a lot. it took Knight choking a player then grabbing a student to get fired at Indiana and his behavior continued at Texas Tech. If you are not good enough being a total ass will get you fired. See Bo Pelini at Nebraska. If he had been finishing the season ranked in the top ten instead of 23-25 every year he would not have been fired. If your a decent human being who treats people with respect you can last longer. Mark Richt went ten years without winning the SEC before they replaced him and that was only because they were scared Kirby Smart would end up at South Carolina.
