You are obviously not a baseball fan. DBU and Oral roberts would definitely improve your conference in baseball. And oral roberts would improve your basketball

Isn’t DBU an anomaly by playing D1 baseball, and other sports in a lower division? Or has that changed/ in any case, they’d at least make a great affiliate baseball member.

Any of the other schools would be good adds as well. I’m especially fond of Cowboy Frog’s suggestion of Denver.

DBU is now in Tarleton and ACU's old D2 league Lone Star, which is slowly morphing into the D2-moveup Southland Football backfill league I expected it to be. That means the Lone Star will soon be turning into a D3-moveup league for the likes of MHB, Trinity, Hardin-Simmons, Howard Payne, etc. As a result, that will leave D2 Elites WTAMU, Angelo, Kingsville, and Midwestern St. just sitting idle with only two decisions to make about their future: Either move up to the Louisiana-controlled Southland, or beg/hope/pray you can move up into the WAC. There are no other options.

Funny that just a year ago, the WAC was barely breathing and now we have financially healthy, thriving, D1-caliber FOOTBALL schools in Texas just waiting to be called up from the bullpen. In fact, for any "near future" additions, if you do not sponsor football and do not geograpghically and financially compliment the Utah schools UTech and SUU, you are not even on the WAC's radar. The WAC is now on solid ground and can be picky about who it invites to the dinner table, and that's a mighty fine position to be in such a short amount of time.

So, to even suggest the WAC would/should/could target DBU, Denver, or any other non-football school moving forward is a non-starter. Just stop it already..
