Interesting that this article says the invitation to UIW could not yet be confirmed.

I wonder if only the McNeese State invitation is going forward for now? That would leave the WAC balanced with 12 members and avoid bringing in an extra mouth to feed. And it’s not as if UIW is going anywhere. The WAC could just promise them they’ll be next up if and when CUSA adds another Texas WAC member.
