Those 2 teams stunk at sports and yet were able to get into a stable, regional conference. The WAC needs ChiSt for numbers. Until we have 10-12 members, all are full members (not in transition) and all have been in the conference for 6-7 years will I concede the conference is stable. Until then we need ChiSt.

Apparently not. Should I rant on about you living in a fantasy world, like you do for me? Nah...

PP, sorry for you giving you a hard time. I know how everything appeared at that time, almost exactly one year ago. But the point I'm trying to make is how things change. What made me think of that is the discussion on the main board about the potential of CUSA refilling once they are raided, and some of the names being dropped.

Maybe someone from here should go tell them how stupid and delusional they are. Actually, DoubleRSU did tell them its not happening. But the more chaos keeps happening, I suppose its still impossible? And the Texas 4 are still as dedicated to a long term future in the WAC as they have repeatedly stated? Gonna be around long term? Not looking? Not open to other option? Not entertaining offers? How they havent even done (or just not rrleased???) their FBS studies? Ad nauseam.

Looks like some others are doing the realignment math as well. Of course, they are about 10 moves and a year behind me, but I am sure they're doing their best and I applaud them for trying.

If the TX4 leave for another conference, it will not be for the reasons that you predicted. You did not predict Texas and Oklahoma defecting. You did not predict the B12 backfilling and you did not predict 6 teams leaving CUSA. You said the TX4 joined temporarily and were immediately planning a move to another conference. If the dominoes hadn't fallen, there was literally no where for the TX4 to move to. No need to pat yourself on the back. Doing so is akin to David Street predicting 37,421 teams moving and one actually moves several years later. Does that make him Nostradamus?
