I think the long term future of the WAC is consolidation around the Texas 4/5/6. As much as I hate it, they do now have significant expansion heft and have advocated for low travel costs.

There are also 3 Utah schools. The remaining schools plus the Utah schools can overrule the TX6.

Consolidating around the new TX members is a reckless strategy and imo is not compatible with the existing full non-FB members. The WAC doesn't need to change much but needs to find it's balance between the FB and non-FB members going forward. Taking it's time and adding the right 14th member (FB playing) is the first step.
