As a Lamar fan personally I do not care for references to the Texas 4 even though I used it in one of my last posts. Two clear points, I doubt Tarleton State fans have any more insight about what was behind Lamar, Sam, or SFA wanting to move than I do. ACU reason may be different and I only put them by themselves as a move that includes geographically closer competition makes sense for them. Second is that every conference member is always looking for what makes the best for their school, so I am not concerned with who goes or stays at this point. The main thing is to enhance the reputation of the conference athletically. I will leave the academics to a different group.
