The WAC will make it official on January 14, according to Pete Thamel.

It really is nice having reputable professionals expressing an interest and publicly sharing legitimate information about WAC. This is a far cry from the standard message board, conference realignment conspiracy theory drivel most of us who came over when this board started have been subjected to for years. While there is still PLENTY of nonsense out there, I am happy to own my skepticism and accept/admit being wrong on this one. Thanks for sharing, OWC.
