RE: WAC get's 10th member - for real (Official Discussion Thread)
I have to say, one thing I've learned from this is there are alot of NCAA fanfolk out there rooting for the WAC to scratch and claw a football conference into existence again. FCS/FBS, it doesn't matter, they just want to see WAC football make its miraculous comeback. And done right, this could shape into a really fun and competitive league, just like the days of old. If this next add ends up being the pull of a longtime FCS program like SUU away from a warm and cozy conference like the BSC, and I'm now about 63.7% sure that it is, Commish Hurd and his "New WAC" vision gains instant credibility and dominoes could fall very quickly. Guarantee you there are many schools at the D2, FCS and even FBS level watching this one very closely. Crazy just how quiet it is, though.
