The 6 new FBS programs (App, CCU, GaSt, GS, ODU and UNCC) within roughly 6 hours of their campus have taken 132 scholarship players out of the talent pool. I’d say they were impacted the most by all the move ups out of any FBS program in the country.

Very likely.

I think the poor decision to fire Ruffin McNeil followed by allowing Scottie Montgomery to stick around too long is what hurt them more.

I'm not seeing a lot on their roster that passes the eye test on the field for what they should be doing. You don't fix a bad roster in one year.

I was just about the say the same thing. Its too much talent out here for all those schools mentioned. Our problem is we had and keep a very bad coach for way too long. This is the first year in 5 years we had a full 85 scholarship roster. We inly have about 5-10 seniors and only about 2 of those even start. Our O-line is the worst we've ever had. Coach Houston has a long way to go so we are going to suck for a little while longer.
