Finally, it's clear UC misses Warren in the backfield. There's plenty of talent in the RB room, but the Truck was a special player and made the entire offense better, including Ridder.

I've made this comment before, Mike did not have top shelf speed, but no Bearcat RB has ever consistently moved the chains like he did. I seem to only recall him take a TFL maybe 1-2 times ever in three years which is extremely impressive considering the number of carries he got. Doaks, Ford, McClellan and Montgomery have taken a couple each in our first three games. Come 3rd and 4th quarter, Warren only seemed to get better as defenses wore down. By that time he still looked fresh and was bouncing off dudes and carrying them down the field.

I still think Pead was a lot better. Mike was a bruiser that was pretty consistent but his highlight reel would be pretty boring and a lot of 20 yard runs getting caught from behind. Pead was a game-breaker. He was the best RB I can remember at UC. That touchdown against Tennessee gave us all hope that we'd actually stay in that game.
