He's got to make better decisions in his third year. The first interception was another deal where he didn't cut bait on a play for a later day. If it isn't there get rid of the ball and start again. The second interception the ball was on the money and i thought Jackson had come up with the ball but he got out hustled for it. Whyle then took the same play for a td and his size paid off. Good adjustment by the coaches to get the bigger receiver out there. I'm not sure if it's Ridder's decision on the run plays up the middle to Doaks/Ford or he gets that from the booth. I thought he did not keep the ball enough today. He had a nice run in the first qtr when he tucked it in, but didn't really go back to it. However, the rb's were effective today. I thought overall his timing was a little better downfield than last week, but still a wip. Losing Degara and Warren were two major spokes. It may take some time to fine tune this. It was a good thing he bounced back from the ankle role with Bryant not available.

I’d say both stats and the eyeball test show he has regressed.

In regards to stats his completion percentage dropped 8 points last season despite a similar amount of attempts (only 14 additional attempts). He nearly doubled his Int total last season while throwing less TD’s. This season he is already close to matching his 2018 INT total in just 3 games.

The eyeball test is subjective, but it seems he has had more missed throws to open receivers and a lot of those don’t seem close. This year especially he seems to be even worse with the read option and overall running hasn’t seen as many big plays.
