just in general, i just noticed for wherever houston is at, at that time you always put us lower,
i remember when houston was 2-1 with out only loss to a top 10 byu..you had a huge game between houston and the top.. i get ranking houston 6 but i dont get the gap

Watching UC play Memphis, SMU and Houston I thought Houston was a level below SMU and Memphis. I think UCF is the most talented of that group. They are probably the most talented team in the League besides Cincinnati, but Tulsa already has wins over SMU and UCF so they need to be in a group by themselves.

Looking at S&P+ UCF is 18, SMU is 31, Memphis is 44.

Tulane is 50, Houston is 51.

Maybe I'm too high on Memphis and should have them in the group below. I just still like their talent level a lot.

I think my rankings are pretty reasonable. Honestly, if I had to do it over again I'd drop Navy to the ECU/Temple group.

you are aware houston most talented players didnt play vs cincy?? and before someone mentions season ending injuries for others or opt outs, stevenson (best offensive player) and turner (best defensive player) are expected back this week or next week, these arent season losses.. point being its be odd to just judge by the cincy game, seeing who was out




missed the last 3 games (ucf, cincy and usf)

houston has 3 losses; top 10 cincy and byu .....and ucf

something that is interesting, is that if houston wins out (beating smu, tulsa and memphis.. extremely unlikely but not impossible)
and cincy winning out (means beating ucf and tulsa)..also not impossible.. its a cincy houston aac championship

that has less than like a 2% chance of happening, but its not yet time to undersell us, after we lose those games, sure

And if Houston wins some of those games they'll deserve to move up. As of right now They are 7th in S&P+ and I have them 7th in the conference. Seems reasonable to me.
