No. Coogs were #6 in 2016 when Navy beat us in Annapolis.

And that was with a whole lot more competition from the P5 conferences

With UC’s SOS and pre season bias I think on a normal year they’re just now cracking the top 25 after beating Smu.

Cincinnati was in the pre-season and pre-COVID cut Top 25s for both the Coaches Poll and AP, as were UCF with Memphis and SMU both in the upper 20s in RV...so your assertion is incorrect.
