Sounds like Notre Dame draws better when they join a conference. They don't normally draw that well in some of those markets.

The four highest rated ACC TV games involved ND:

Clemson @ Notre Dame NBC 10.07M

Notre Dame @ North Carolina ABC 6.08M

Notre Dame @ BC ABC 5.14M

Duke @ Notre Dame NBC 4.32M
