Pretty poor week for college football. No game makes the top 10 or topped 5 million. The week's winner was Alabama-LSU at just 4.22M (rounded to nearest hundred million). The game was not even in the top 20 games for the season. Second place was Ohio State-Michigan State at 4.11M. They were the only two games above 4 million viewers this week.

All remaining #'s are rounded to the nearest hundredth because Sports Media Watch rounds them that way.

Here's an upset. At 3:30pm ET, Indiana-Wisconsin on ABC (3.82) beat Florida-Tennessee (3.42)! Big Ten > SEC! Notre Dame (vs. Syracuse) started at 2:30pm ET on NBC and got just 2.84M. Virginia Tech-Clemson (7:30pm on ABC) actually did respectable vs. Alabama/LSU (3.34M). Trevor Lawrence and Co. unarguably took viewers away from Alabama-LSU. Just for comparison, the 2019 LSU-Alabama game got 16.64M viewers so this year's game got about 1/4 of its viewers from 2019. You know LSU sucks when Alabama-MISSISSIPPI (on ESPN!) outdraws Alabama-LSU this year!

No Big 12 or Pathetic 12 game got more than 2 million viewers.

Next week, COVID-19 willing, is Michigan-Ohio State and Army-Navy. It will be interesting to see the rating for Army-Navy when it goes up against other college football games (North Carolina-Miami on ABC, Washington-Oregon on FOX, Michigan State-Penn State on ESPN, Wisconsin-Iowa on FS1). The start time is 3pm before the Michigan/Ohio State game finishes (then again if the 30 point spread on that game is accurate it should be over by 3pm). Where will Michigan-Ohio State rank this season? Realistically their goal should be 3rd, I'd be stunned if they top Georgia-Alabama (9.61M).
