Forget the fact that undoubtedly players/teams are going to end up catching it up there, but even worse, do they not realize there aren't even hospital beds for any potential injuries? And that's before even mentioning the fact that masks won't be mandated either for any audience that takes the bold move to show up at the games. It will be a mass casualty event for sure.

South Dakota
45th total deaths
39th total cases
34th deaths per million
40th active cases
4 deaths per month average
0 new deaths

Here is a link to a study of 50 universities showing almost no hospitalizations and zero deaths.

Zero Covid Deaths Among Students

Also, the tournament is more than a month away. I'm not blaming you for being a Karen and going into hysterics. The media has trained you to be like that.

South Dakota had the nation’s highest rate of positive tests over the last 14 days, according to the COVID Tracking Project. I sure wouldn't want to hang out at a basketball game in that area right now. I just find it ironic they'd pick this specific city to avoid covid when it's in fact the hardest hit right now. Most likely that's why they picked it. They have no Covid restrictions and thus explains why the situation is so bad there. Sure it might be better in a month, but the trends say it's only getting worse, especially with a governor who is in denial. This in my opinion is most likely the reason Duke backed out. And I don't blame them.

South Dakota
304 Deaths
344 Deaths per million

Kristi Noem = In Denial

New York
33,449 Deaths
1,719 Deaths per million
Quote:New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo praised New York for its "beautiful" response in fighting the outbreak in a speech Monday for the 2020 Democratic National Convention, held virtually amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Andrew Cuomo = NOT in denial

Hysterical Liberal sheep saying what they're told.
