Nobody will really know for sure until the bowls. The ACC had that 1 non conference game and with Liberty vs Va Tech it's just hard to know if Liberty is just that strong. I thought Va Tech played well against them but comparisons are hard. I do think offensively that North Carolina looks stout, but the defense looks Big 12 all the way. Miami is better than average in all phases but not stellar in any particular one, so a solid squad altogether but not a headliner.

There are no gauges in the SEC and Big 10 and the PAC will play too few even among themselves.

And to be fair even if the Big 12 had a great program when everyone has 2 losses how do you know?
