Vegas tends to underestimate some of the intangibles. Game One for a first time head coach against Will Healy starting his second year wanting to make a statement are two factors that should have produced a tighter line, IMO.

"It's the program, not necessarily the coach" is bad logic, I think, when you consider two of college football's best ever in Tennessee and Nebraska. Like Georgia Southern, it only takes one bad hire to sink a program.

I agree. I’m a lot more vocal about my worries than most App fans are. I think we’ve all convinced ourselves we won’t miss a beat but I don’t see how there aren’t some negative impacts from losing Satt and Drink in back to back seasons. We shall see. I hope coach Clark dominates and the Tweetsie Railroad App train keeps on chugging.

I will be shocked if Clark messes up the offense. I think you have one more year to coast off of what Satterfield built on that side of the ball. We'll find out after the first 2 games about your defense. I'm glad Davis-Gaither and Fehr are gone.
