He did sign Jayden Stone last summer, who was a 4 star recruit, and that was one of his first signings. However, I didn't have the expectation that he was going to come in and sign only 4 and 5 star recruits. Dan only got one and that was towards the end of his tenure when he had the most job security (lol). Most 4 and 5 star guys aren't going to sign with a brand new coach at a mid-major level. However, if he does start winning a few championships, I have the expectation that he does start signing guys of that caliber.

I feel like programs at our level can sign 1 or 2 4 star* talents in a given year. I just don’t see 5 star talents coming to the WAC, unfortunately.

* 4 star talent that comes to the WAC are probably going to be transfers from bigger programs where they aren’t happy for one reason or another. I’d say signing a 4 star out of HS would be a big get.

GO AGGIES!!!
