And this part of the problem. The season is a trainwreck.

It has to cost more to plan a game, cancel it, and the reschedule it (if possible) than to just cancel from the get go. From an exposure perspective ODU crapped the bed. However, I have to think from a budgetary perspective they are probably in a better place then these teams that are postponing or canceling games last minute.

Regardless of everyone's personal opinions on whether ODU should have cancelled, this is 100% correct.
