Wouldn't you have to cancel all games in order to legally support that clause?

On the other hand, pressing this could bite a G5 in the a** in future when trying to schedule against the P5 for $.

One alternative: partial payment now (helps current G5 finances) counting against payment for future game.

This was going to be the basis of my pushback.

Okay. There is a clause that states you can back out if there is an epidemic/pandemic. Fine. But, that doesn't hold water when you don't cancel ALL of your games. The pandemic isn't just a risk during non-conference games.

I'd think, these smaller schools could push forth the treat of a lawsuit and the P5s will have to pay up or play.

And, tbh, I'd be just fine with them simply paying up.

Of course, if the NCAA pulls the plug on the Fall season, this is all for naught. But, then that would effect everyone and not just the G5s.
