Arizona, Arizona St, Colorado, and Utah. No one else would respond. They would hold out as the PAC-8 unless and until provided an official partnership with the B1G. If the XII was dead set on going to 16, they would also add BYU and Cincinnati.

East: Baylor, Cincinnati, Iowa St, Kansas, Kansas St, Oklahoma St, TCU, West Virginia
West: Arizona, Arizona St, BYU, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, Utah

But, if 6 PAC schools did respond...it would include Stanford and USC.
