Covid is more deadly than the flu. The flu doesn't have asymptomatic carriers, so the transmission is easier to control. The mortality of Covid-19 varies widely depending on whether the asymptomatic population is included or not. Regardless, it's just common sense and common decency to wear the mask and follow guidelines regarding social distancing and hand washing. I don't understand why some insist on resisting when the result puts others at risk. It's fine to put yourself at risk, but unless you live in a bubble, you're doing more than that by ignoring the guidelines.

OK, I stand corrected. The transmission by asymptomatic carriers "seems" to be less impactful, or at least based on current understanding of Covid. Thanks for that information. Good to know!
