I guess it would depend on a) if the NCAA tries to hold the FCS playoffs in the fall, and b) if there will be any accommodations made for conferences and programs that played in the fall. So if, say, the Big South, MVFC, SoCon, JMU/Elon and whoever else hasn't called it yet played in the fall, would they still get their auto bids and be in contention for at-large bids in the playoffs? Or would the time off be considered too much of an advantage?

I wonder if UVa. has ODU on speed dial if FCS is shut down for the fall and they have to scramble for a game. ODU is available on Sept. 12, which is when the VMI game is scheduled.
