Trevecca is a much better university — both academically and athletically — than a lot of Nashvillians realize. And the campus is rather nice. I actually live fairly close to it.

Now NCAA DII (as could correctly note), TNU is moving forward on many levels. But I don't foresee the university leaders wanting the athletics program to be DI anytime soon. But I might be proved wrong.

I've never thought of Nashville, which happens to be one of my favorite cities, as a college town, but it does have a fair number of schools: Vandy, Tennessee State, Belmont, Lipscomb, and I didn't even know about Trevecca. Great city!
