No argument from me. You're right. I shouldn't have tried to conflate the two threads even though one was more active than the other. I don't necessarily see the two forums as isolated from each other as you do. That's on me. Sorry.

I think the sheer lack of posters here as a singularly small proportion of those whom regularly post there tends to make me believe that this is fairly isolated.

If you look at the 'activity' -- most of the former (if not all) actively post in the 'parent' forum. From this forum, there is one name that I dont think I have ever seen post in this forum. And, when you add OO, Ham, #s, and to a lesser extent you, illini, and Big, that is the complete population of posters here.

Also, I dont think I would characterize that first post as a suggestion that 'systemic racism was detrimental to Rice Recruiting.' It was more framed as a demand that Bloomgren make a statement on systemic racism.
