You could be right. That's not how I read that statement... perhaps I was biased by MerseyOwl's reaction to it. He clearly didn't take "let's not" simply to mean "this is better left to the political board". Like I said... I didn't find it especially noteworthy on my first read of that thread as I didn't remember anything controversial.

Perhaps we should all be done with this particular molehill?
Rice University was accused of systemic racism.
The Rice Campus Police were accused of racial profiling.

If you don't find either of those allegations controversial, then is it safe to assume you believe both are true?

If the moderators want to move the Just Wondering thread that's their decision. Better yet, why not just archive it so no one can find it?

Not sure I'm following here. The absolute cowardice was the suggestion that the Rice campus police engaged in racial profiling?
