Well, IIRC, this guy is now the Deputy AD at Vanderbilt. So he has managed to move on and up from Louisiana Tech, LOL.

He will have to hold onto that job as long as he can, because this will come up in every collegiate job interview he has in the future. No school wants a mouth that can blow everything up in a hot second when that guy is easily replaceable.

I don't think it will ever come up. He was speaking as the AD of one member of his conference. Not sure how that is linked to the current state of CUSA at all. I can't imagine any university president holding those comments against him.
