I have a very different opinion on scheduling than many do on this board. I feel that if we want to be an elite program we need to schedule elite teams, whenever and wherever. If we wish to move up in the college football world we need to play better opponents. Last year our program seemed to downplay the Tenn game. I don’t understand that. recruits, AAC and fans take notice when you play (and sometimes beat) teams like that. We must have a stronger schedule if we wish to become a stronger program. If we must play two power 5 top tier teams on the road a year so be it.
