BYU makes more money as an independent than they would make in the MWC. BYU's issue is that while they have a large fanbase that draws at the gate, for some reason their TV viewership draw is lower than Boise ST & Cincy in 2019. Their poor TV draw along with all of the baggage they bring they will be last considered among most P-5 conferences. I guess there is a scenario where if the BIG12 raids Pac 12 schools that BYU would be considered, however I could see Col St getting an invite over BYU...IMHO
