Tennis has lost 50 programs across all divisions since March 11. FIFTY. Division I tennis lost five teams in 48 hours at three different schools. As many drops as wrestling's had, they've never once had a year where they lost 50 teams. That doesn't count the drops at places like Valpo and FAMU that announced cuts prior to the pandemic's expected financial impact.

Saw something on the realignment board that makes sense: tennis has a lot of international players and with the state of international travel being what it is, that makes it an easy target for cuts (plus not as many domestic program alum to fight for its survival).

It's also one of the only sports where their facility can remain on campus and still have utility as is.
