Did Heflin no longer have a scholarship? Otherwise, I don't know why this matters. Iowa gave him nothing. Seems like you really have to be desperate to go to a place that didn't give you a chance to begin with. Chances are he sits on the bench like 95% of players leaving NIU.

Heflin is a pro prospect. He not only plays he may star. Very likely he gets drafted, he ain't sitting.
