You have those three, and to a slightly lesser extent Georgia and LSU (who had an off year) Even Notre Dame's last two games show that they are on the outside looking in. Oklachoma is a step behind. Texas A&M, too. Florida MAY climb back in, as may Auburn. But the trio of Clemson, Alabama and Clemson have managed to become the super-elite.

Everybody wants to go to the SEC. it’s amazing Clemson and Ohio St. broke in. I wonder if the ESPN/SEC relationship is the main reason.
