RE: Do you think there will be a 2020 college FB season?
I'm all for allowing on-campus students to attend, provided that appropriate cautions are taken. I think a few thousand loud students could bring some atmosphere to home games. Not sure if I want thousands of alumni and fans descending upon Nippert though, bringing with that the risk of spreading the virus to attending students, who may then spread the virus to the team. Obviously there is a risk of transmission no matter what, but it's best to mitigate that risk whenever possible. Regardless of how anyone feels about the virus and the precautions that are being taken, we can all agree we don't want an outbreak on our team, knowing it could lead to postponement, cancellation, losing a game due to key absences, or forfeit.
