What's the issue though? Conferences have already set season schedules and teams are doing workouts as we speak. I'm simplifying in my example but the offer of an "opt out" is what covered the COVID risk IMO. These kids face injury risks of all types simply stepping into the weight room everyday. That stuff was already covered in existing policies, insurance, risk waivers, etc. Heck, what happens if a nasty flu bug takes hold of some players? There was never an 'opt out" for that level of risk.
