That's how the right wing disinformation machine works. Fake posts get circulated quickly. It's much easier to argue against a far fetched version of the other side than the actual positions of the other side. They've been so conditioned to see the other side as the enemy that they don't even think to check something as obviously fake as that tweet.

Sounds more like CNN.
