The CDC has no mechanism for gathering data. No mechanism for verifying data. Review the congressional testimony from May 12, 2020 from the mouth of the director of the CDC. The system is “archaic”....his words. They can only sit and wait for states, municipalities and hospital systems to report whatever they report and they accept that information from God’s mouth to their ears.

Mix in the fact that it keeps being established that hospital systems’ reported numbers are often proven to be garbage for whatever reason....malfeasance or negligence...and I can’t For the life of me figure out why anyone who considers themselves a free thinker would not be asking lots of tough questions. Skepticism is the first step towards truth and we all know what the truth will set you...

Skepticism doesn't mean every question that arises I should jump to some convoluted conspiracy theory about how it's a narrative to bring down the president. I don't take any individual information as gospel. You can have a discerning eye and not jump to crazy conclusions. It's also very clear from the data (even where data has holes and issues, which it inevitably will), we're doing a much worse job than the rest of the developed world at containing the virus. This is obvious and there's tons of evidence to support it.
