Yep you’re right Sam. Hopefully Wetherbe influences the schedule so we don’t have more cupcakes than required. I’m not sure if the schedule is finalized yet, but Wetherbe should have at most 2 cupcakes for OOC schedule then I’d add teams that bolster our net income. EMU has scheduled more D2 and NIAI schools compared to any other MAC team. Therefore Wetherbe needs to make sure the 2020 OOC schedule is loaded with D1 schools even if we play the games away. Murphy did not resign so Wetherbe should load up next years schedule.

I looked at the center we signed. He is an improvement over King but nothing compared to Toure. Without looking at next seasons roster, I expect maximum 7-8 conference wins. Why? If he can not win the division with the roster he had two seasons ago, he ain’t going to win.

I can see us adding a couple paycheck games to the schedule, but not with nefarious intentions. The school needs the money. The non-D1 games won’t change, either. Hopefully we get both Oakland and U of D back in as well.
