Epic home game against vcu if we can hold serve on the road. Big if. I believe X and Curry are poised for break-out seasons.

In terms of opponent quality, VCU may not even be the toughest test involving a Richmond team. Jeff Goodman has the Spiders 13th (!) in his preseason top 50. Arkansas is 28th, so if those scan, ODU's going to have a hell of a road schedule even if nobody else pans out.

Richmond is very good. Saw them multiple times this year in person. They waxed VCU in February. They play a much better brand of ball. They return all their starters. They score the ball with ease, Fun to watch, Highly skilled team. It’s funny cause they were complete crap for like 3 straight years before this past season. They stuck with their coach and the players really matured and got a lot better.

Yeah, some of their fans bought a Fire Mooney billboard on 95 not that long ago, and now they might be this season's Dayton, a low-key national title contender.

Yeah the difference is Dayton had a legit lottery pick. They were also very good defensively and much more athletic. Richmond plays good team defense but they are almost like a poor mans Gonzaga. Not sure they can be Final Four good. But make no mistake, they are for real. I just think Dayton had a real chance. What a shame.
