Do people have this little understanding of anything? You don't get unemployment insurance if you quit your job, so no one is just quitting to get this they won't get it. Once 4 months passes you damn well better believe that's going away and do you think these people can live off that forever? Also Mnuchin made it clear the states don't have a way to ensure everyone gets just what they were making and nothing more in a quick way.

So 4 months? There will be no where to go back to work in 4 months and there will be no where to spend the money during the 4 months. And please don't tell me it will go into savings accounts because we all know better than that. Businesses can't sit dormant for 4 months and then open up like nothing happened as they will lose their employees due to getting paid more to be unemployed. Summer industries are dead for years as this will go on through the end of July.

If those businesses never let go of their employees then they have nothing to worry about. Again you can't get unemployment if you quit your damn job. The only people who are eligible for this are those that were laid off. Maybe there's gonna be some very dumb people who quit their jobs thinking they are getting free cash, and they are going to be very sadly mistaken when they realize they don't get it.

Also who cares Bernie won this thing passed, so for all the talk of "Bernie accomplishes nothing" his threat to hold this entire thing up got those 4 clowns to shut up and pass it.

Clueless. If you are unemployed you don't HAVE a job anymore. And who ever said you get unemployment if you quit? So Bernie "winning" is more important than the American people losing? This is a generational thing.
