So. You are saying people that made $10 an hour at the local store will give up $3400/week tax free (family of 4) to go back to work when they reopen?

Damn when did they slip it in that these benefits were forever? I could have swore it was for only 4 months. Oh well yeah you are right they'd be stupid to ever work again if they can sit at home forever collecting that check.

Do people have this little understanding of anything? You don't get unemployment insurance if you quit your job, so no one is just quitting to get this they won't get it. Once 4 months passes you damn well better believe that's going away and do you think these people can live off that forever? Also Mnuchin made it clear the states don't have a way to ensure everyone gets just what they were making and nothing more in a quick way.

So 4 months? There will be no where to go back to work in 4 months and there will be no where to spend the money during the 4 months. And please don't tell me it will go into savings accounts because we all know better than that. Businesses can't sit dormant for 4 months and then open up like nothing happened as they will lose their employees due to getting paid more to be unemployed. Summer industries are dead for years as this will go on through the end of July.
