We are weeks behind where we should be on this crisis. If the president had listened to his own intelligence resources and the scientific community, we could've been far ahead on the availability of testing and limited the spread of the virus through early detection and limited quarantining. Perhaps if he had kept the pandemic response office as part of the NSC that would've happened. It is possible to be a supporter of Trump and yet be able to admit that he's made a mistake.

Thanks to President Trump, he stopped travel from China very early. So early that his haters said he was a racist for doing so. Shortly after, he stopped air travel form Europe. These calls are believed to have saved millions from getting sick along with some deaths. The haters are going to think and say negatives about Trump. Use your good mind and reason when evaluating these remarks.

Italy enacted a complete ban on flights from China before the US did. COMPLETE ban...even when we "shut down" travel from China we still allowed travel from certain cities due to fears of what it would do to the stock market if we shut them all down.

Italy acted faster than we did in restricting travel and are still in a really bad situation.

So yea, use sound reason when evaluating remarks.

Hopefully, enough Americans have learned that elections have consequences. In this case more serious consequences then I could have ever imagined. Trump didn't just ignore the problem, for 2 months, he called it a "Democratic hoax" and said it would magically "disappear". 10's if not 100's of thousands of Americans will die because of his idiocy.

Just saw this- Fauci also shared some details about certain exchanges with President Donald Trump, saying that when the president drafts remarks for coronavirus-related press conferences, the president “almost always” ignores Fauci’s suggested edits. Of course, he truly believes he knows more than Dr. Fauci.
