Just saw an article in the NYT trying to explain how the world's richest country could run out of 75 cent face masks. The incompetence, from those we count on to keep us safe, is simply mind-boggling.

General rule of thumb is we are not diagnosing 90 percent of cases. The good news is almost all of those are likely non serious because Someone would eventually seek medical attention

Side note if I see one more mathematical expert show support for a 3 month lockdown I’m going to scream. This is the United States. You can’t just lock everyone down for months on end like China did.

A complete lockdown is one thing. Many jobs allow some degree of social distancing. But, how long before we are okay with filling 20K basketball and 80K football stadiums?

Even social distancing is killing the economy. Most small businesses are not set up for telework and are hemorrhaging money.

We can try to go as long as we can but by May 1 you’re going to have a hard time not reopening things. Including sports

As an aside there was an article a couple weeks ago about how a lack of FBS football could nearly bankrupt some P5 schools
