The three cities in Florida with the highest covid per capita are in farming areas with substantial migrant
farmworker populations:
491 Homestead(pop 70,477)
509 Belle Glade(pop 20,058)
1,172 Immokalee(pop 26,773)
Working and living in close proximity,
transportation on farm buses, inadequate PPE,
and a need to work to earn a living are all big factors.
This could be a big problem as they move to north for work since Florida growing seasons have ended
with the start of the heavy Summer rains.
