HYPE, for everyone except for elderly nursing home patients.

Hell, in the midst of the rioting, we aren't even hearing panic-induced news stories about Kawaski disease striking down children left and right anymore. Everything must serve the narrative du jour, even viruses, and the narrative is EVERYONE MUST PROTEST NOW.

nobody ever said kids were stricken ‘left and right’. the data was clear from Europe, initial study detailed THIRTY-FIVE cases in UK. if people and the media run wild with a news story without reading the details that’s on them and their inability to comprehend the details.

My son’s cardiologist has seen 7 cases. definitely not an epidemic number but that’s one physician in metro Detroit. of those 7 he said all have recovered , but the long term effects will not be known for years. Some would need ECMO to survive it. that’s very drastic, Extra corporeal membrane oxygenation is often a last resort for kids recovering from heart surgeries or major illnesses. it’s very unfortunate for kids to possibly have lifelong effects from an illness, this is from a parent who knows his kid’s life expectancy is limited from the start.

this update came out the other day.

Researchers have identified the main symptoms and clinical attributes of a new inflammatory syndrome in children that's similar to Kawasaki disease, a new study reveals.
Back in April, British and European scientists were seeing cases of a new condition, which researchers have now dubbed Pediatric Inflammatory Multisystem Syndrome Temporally associated with SARS-CoV-2 (PIMS-TS) in their paper published today in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
