I agree completely.

Decisions being made haven't been based on common sense, and are irresponsible. Folks in the higher risk category need to be particularly careful, and likely bunker down. The rest of us need to be thoughtful and responsible, as do businesses, but we should be permitted to assume our own risk. And yes, I understand the argument that everyone poses a risk to everyone else. But that has always been true, long before covid-19. For most people the "risk" isn't a "deadly" risk, but rather the risk of getting a virus which may or may not even be symptomatic (particularly if you are otherwise generally healthy).

The more people get the virus and get past it, the quicker this crap will end (as long as the media and many in politics will allow it to end). These projections that multi-millions will die of the virus itself, and that hospitals must be reserved to treat the non-stop covid-19 emergencies, were grossly inaccurate, irresponsible, and dangerous. Fear politics have been around for a very long time. People need to start thinking independently, and stop being so willing to surrender liberty.
