In my opinion, this is really a poor time for us in terms of dominoes falling. Our latest football performance and attendance are terrible and basketball has been meh. I'm afraid we'd be left out of any AAC movement at this point. Of course the realignment process could take a couple of years. If AAC is the goal, we really need football to show it is trending way up THIS YEAR and if it does figure out how to keep RR.

While it certainly is a factor, I don't think our current lack of success in basketball and FB will play as big a part as other factors. Location, facilities and the overall health of our entire athletic department will play a bigger role IMO.
