Prior to a loss against # 20 Tennessee on Tuesday night, the red-hot ETSU Buccaneers had won 8 straight games, including a road win against # 25 Clemson.

This weekend presents some uncertainty as college events across the country are getting cancelled. Assuming the games are played, ETSU's weekend rotation would likely consist of the following: Senior RHP Landon Knack (4-0, 1.08 ERA, 51 K's, 25.0 IP); sophomore RHP Zach Kirby (2-1, 4.26 ERA, 17 K's, 19.0 IP); and sophomore LHP Colby Stuart (2-1, 3.68 ERA, 13 K's, 14.2 IP).

Offensively, the Bucs boast a veteran-laden squad. Grad student RF Jake Madole has only had 31 ABs but has made the most of them, leading the team in hitting (.419), HR's (5), Slugging (1.065) and OBP (.538). Madole, a Hampstead native, had spent his previous 3 seasons with UNC Asheville. Senior 3B Jake Lyle (.362/.638/.464, 2 HR, 13 RBI) has also been outstanding, and leads the team in stolen bases, with 12. Junior OF David Beam leads the team in RBI (14), while senior C Jackson Greer is second on the team in HR (4). ETSU has outscored teams 117-71 thus far in 2020 and also stolen 31 bases to just 8 for opponents.

The bullpen is a young group for ETSU. A trio of sophomores have all made 5 appearances: RHP Nathaniel Tate (2 saves, 1.29 ERA); LHP Daulton Montagna (3.00 ERA, 1 save) and RHP Joseph Acosta (4.32 ERA). Redshirt freshman RHP Matthew Bollenbacher (3.00 ERA, 1 save), junior LHP Matthew Mercer (4.15 ERA) and redshirt sophomore RHP Walker Joyce (7.94 ERA) have 4 appearances apiece.
