I don't think UCA and the Louisiana schools were terribly keen on the additions of the private schools a few years back (particularly Incarnate Word), but I don't see them hitting the eject button and weakening their recruiting leverage in Texas. UCA especially has to have access to Texas for recruiting, and there's no better access than playing conference games in the state.

Jacksonville State is interesting. I do wonder if there's some appeal to renewing the rivalry with UNA (they play in 2020), and they have some recent history with Kennesaw State. Those games would be a lot of fun, if nothing else. The OVC's exit fee is, I believe, still $750,000 without two years' notice. JSU could conceivably ride it out and avoid the exit fee.

The ASUN is talking about 2023, so certainly Jacksonville State of the OVC and Chattanooga of the SoCon could easily ride out the two years.
